York Rite
The “York Rite” is an American Degree system that offers Master Mason’s further lessons in Freemasonry. It is regionally organized with three elements, the Chapter of Royal Arch Masons, Council of Royal and Select Masons, and the Chivalric Orders culminating with the Knights Templar. Joining the York Rite introduces Master Masons to Brothers from Lodges near and far. Ten degrees and three orders are offered in the York Rite.
